Although the woodland in the photograph is mature and has plainly been on the ground for many years, our version of OS. Explorer 307 (Revised for significant change 2000, and Revised for selected change 2005), which is also up-to-date enough to show 'access land', fails to recognise that trees grow there! Here the plantation is viewed across dry stone walls from the south.
