View westward, towards Symington; ex-Caledoanian Symington - Peebles branch. Branch passenger services ceased on 5/6/1950, the line was closed on to Peebles on 7/6/1954 but goods continued to Broughton from Symington until 4/4/1966. Hence, a line was still left here in 1962.
