Or, perhaps, the start of it, depending on which way you're going. The gate excludes unauthorised vehicles from the forest road, which I note from the map is not on Forestry Commission land, though there is FC land to both north and south of this tract of forest. The Broom (Cytisus scoparius) provides a welcome splash of yellow among the gloomy greens.
