The oldest of the South Elmham churches, the tower although square is probably pre-Conquest and the nave and chancel show Norman building techniques. The South Elmham group of churches were part of the South Elmham Minster, the remains of which are at South Elmham Hall and are open to the public. Other churches in the parish of South Elmham are: All Saints, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1909363 St, Cross St. George, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1909368 St Margaret, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1909372 St. Michael, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1909376 St Peter http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1909381 and Homersfield St Mary which was once known as South Elmham St Mary. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1850292 .
