In June 2007 a 2 day music festival was held in the grounds of Knowsley Hall near Liverpool. Heavy overnight rain turned the car parking areas into a quagmire and persistent rain throughout the day resulted in hundreds of cars having to be towed out by a fleet of tractors throughout the night.
