This excellent coal house belongs to one of the Grade II listed 18C cottages shown in another photo. It has a single slab of stone as a roof . The hatch through which coal was poured in from the road has been blocked up. but the outline of it is still visible. The cottage where the car is parked was Norman Addison's shop until the early 70's. He had the first refrigerator in a shop in Rastrick. Even the Co-op next door didn't have one.
