Anne, the Bobby Roberts circus elephant

This 57 year old Asian elephant is the only circus elephant in Britain. The circus is in Galashiels at the Public Park from the 2nd to the 6th June 2010, and I took this shot of feeding time during my lunch hour. There has been a lot of controversy over this captive elephant and several animal welfare rights groups have campaigned for Anne to be housed in an animal sanctuary.
