The dark grey building in the centre is an old coaching house. In the early to late sixties it was divided into flats, several of which were rented out to airmen from RAF Brize Norton who didn't qualify for accommodation on the camp. I was one of them! Grateful as I was to have been given the 'privilege' of renting there I sincerely hope they have been improved since then.
