A view of a horse chestnut flower, one day to become conkers. Two woodland trust woods are within a mile of each other, this is the larger and older Three Gates Farm. The wood is a real mix with poplar wind breaks, broadleaved oaks and horse chestnuts as well as pear and apple trees because the site was an orchard. The woodland trust got the site in the 1990s and planting began.
