Fairham Brook Nature Reserve

The uncultivated strip alongside the Fairham Brook, relict lowland fen bog, has been designated a Nature Reserve since 1970. Recent years have seen a drying up of the area and a reduction in grazing land resulting in significant changes to habitat. This is one of the remaining areas of dry reed bed.
