This small postbox is in the original village centre of Radipole – before Weymouth sprawled northeastwards to engulf Radipole as a suburb – and stands under the foliage of a weeping willow. It is the only part of Radipole that is in the DT4 postcode district rather than DT3. The final collections are made at 5:15pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays. The postman yeaterday forgot that this coming Monday is a bank holiday, and inserted the 'MON' next collection plate rather than 'TUE'. Just beyond the postbox is the bridge over the River Wey.
