"Good buildings on a hill, by B. Westwood, N. Westwood, Piet and Partners, 1962-64." (Pevsner) BIBRA is, or was, the British Industrial Biological Research Association. It might be one of those acronyms which stops being an acronym. This was a medical research centre for the adjacent hospital, but now awaits a new use, most likely housing. Because of possible contamination these buildings will probably be demolished.
