Located alongside Duke Street, on the site of Aberdare Low Level railway station http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2571066 (closed 1964). The bus station has an elegant design with an access arch from Duke Street to each of its 12 bus bays. Buses arriving at the station, such as the Stagecoach bus on the left, stop near the southeast entrance for passengers to alight. Buses then go either to a bus bay for passengers to board, or to the waiting area, just out of view on the right.
