On the corner of Oldham Road and Katherine Street. A former beerhouse owned by Timothy Tunnicliffe in 1868. In 1904 it was owned by the Newton Heath Brewery. It didn't get a full licence until 1960 when it was taken over by the Martson's Brewery of Burton on Trent. Close-up of the decorative carving Image
