In the centre of this picture of parts of Histon is the Bridge Road (Glassworld Stadium) home of Blue Square Premier League Histon FC, and surrounding it on two-and-a-bit sides Histon & Impington Recreation Ground, home of Histon CC. The concrete stripe crossing the centre of the picture is the still-unopened and extremely controversial St Ives to Cambridge guided busway, which follows the line of the former railway. The A14 creeps into the top left-hand corner of the picture.
