A magnificent example of a Richard Garrett locomobile engine. Built 1912 and installed here secondhand in 1936. It was retired in 1975 and removed in 1983 to the Long Shop Museum in Leiston, where it was built. A large compound engine burning sawdust and rated at 100 horsepower at 150-165 rpm.
