See Image It seems that the proposal to convert the former Government offices (and once the factory of Greeves, Ridgeway & Co., linen and damask manufacturers) into an aparthotel has been abandoned. According to the local media, the developer is quoted as saying “Unfortunately we have taken the decision to postpone any future development in Belfast at the moment. This is due to the prevailing economic situation and the current oversupply of bedrooms in Belfast.” Image shows the building in October 2011.
