Hunday - The National Tractor and Farm Museum, the Bingfield Thrasher

This is a significant device with a Crowther type vertical steam engine driving a house-built thrashing machine to Meikle's design. Built about 1835-1840 and last used during World War One. It is now displayed in steam at the Anson Museum, Higher Poynton. Hunday was a magnificent museum and is sadly missed.
