Despite the dereliction of the disused service station in the foreground, the Indian restaurant is still investing in the future with a new wing soon to open. I can vaguely recall the site as being a roadside truck-stop in the days before the M4 opened in the early 1970s and the A4 being the main east-west route to and from London.
