Tower windmill, Hemingford Grey

This tower windmill, built of gault brick in 1820, is situated on an earthen mound. An inscribed plaque above the door shows the date and the builder's initials - JW. It originally had four sails and was the last working mill in Cambridgeshire. It is listed Grade II.
