One of the first batch of Metrolink trams, dating from the early 1990's, made in Italy by Firema, type T68. Like all the other Firema trams it is due for a major overhaul and internal refit. This will result in considerably less seats and more standing room. How enthusiastic passengers will be about this remains to be seen, but at least in peak periods there will be more chance of actually getting on the vehicle.
