View NE on Bow Road at Addington Road, towards Bow Junction (Stratford); ex-GE Fenchurch Street - Stratford line. Remnants of the station were still clearly present in 1961, although after temporary closure 21/4/41 - 9/12/46 and 6/1 - 6/10/47, had been closed permanently since 7/11/49, when the line was electrified - but only as a diversionary route.
