This little machine was built by Worthington in the USA and the slide valve steam cylinder was 8" x 8" and direct coupled to the compressor cylinder. The twin flywheels were 3' diameter. The engine was last used c1950-2 and was well disused. It was under a staircase in a narrow space and difficult to photograph. The brewery closed in 1986 and it is believed the engine was probably scrapped.
