It is worth looking through the bars of the locked and neglected entrance lobby of Watson Fothergill's Nottingham Daily Express Offices of 1876 to see this plaque, which records that the novelist Graham Greene had his first job as a newspaperman on the Nottingham Journal in the 1920s.
