In brick-and-pantile country, the three high-gabled stone-walled farmhouses in Langford are unusual. According to the Winthorpe Village Community website http://www.winthorpe.org.uk/langford1 they date from c. 1700 and the rebuilding of the village after the medieval one had decayed.
