Two lanes, Crooklake Hill

For nearly 100 metres Crooklake Hill, the lane on the right that terminates as a public road when it reaches the Shuttern Brook crossing (see Image), and the lane leading more directly across the brook to Ashford and Whitestone Wood, run side by side, before the latter diverges.
