This is the ruin of the main house at Court Farm, as seen from the field gate just up the road. The roof is missing and the remains are compromised by well established trees. Under all that ivy there must be at least one of the rumoured seven chimneys that used to make the house an unmistakable landmark for sea navigation. For an idea of what it used to look like see some of the photos here: http://www.cwrtfarm.org/html/photo_gallery_.html Despite its sorry state, the farm has great historical significance, detailed extensively in this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Court_Farm,_Pembrey and attracting a renovation grant from the Welsh Assembly: http://wales.gov.uk/news/latest/100406historicgrants/;jsessionid=JHwYLhDSpXzSqRQ4GhYwVsytmGQkdb6hzhHrlMjzrpNJMh34QsCX?lang=en
