Many people use this footpath to get from the Albion Street area to the town centre shops. This is the point at which it crosses Priory Road, looking towards the town centre. The sign says 'Warwickshire County Council - U.D.C. of Kenilworth - The riding of bicycles, tricycles or other similar machines on this footpath is prohibited under bye-laws made by the Warwickshire County Council and approved by the Secretary of State' This dates it from before 1974, when the Kenilworth UDC was absorbed into Warwick District Council.
