Sea Palling was served for many years by Eastern Counties Bus Service No. 5A, from Norwich via Wroxham and Stalham. The double decker bus used to go as far as the Coastguard Cottages at the far end of Beach Road, but sometimes the last bus would remain in this barn overnight, for the locally based driver to run the first service into Norwich in the morning.
