stadium:mk was completed in 2007 and formally opened in that year by Queen Elizabeth II. Currently it has a crowd capacity of 22,000, although this has the potential to be increased to 40,000, by installing seating in the currently unoccupied upper tier. The concrete walls of this upper tier are visible behind the structural steel columns here. This view was taken looking along the rear of the east stand. The west side of the stadium is in Image and here Image
