Taken on the morning of the General Election, 6th. May 2010. The polling station sign is virtually hidden by the party canvassers who stand outside and try to get you to show them your voter number off your official poll card. The weather is dull grey cloud; it has rained briefly in the last couple of hours. It was quite busy inside and I had to wait five minutes in a small queue. The elections for Stratford on Avon District Council were being held at the same time as the General Election. Candidates for the new constituency of Kenilworth & Southam (Results) James Harrison - Green (568) Nicholas Milton- Labour (6949) John Moore- UK Independence Party (1214) Nigel Rock- Liberal Democrat (13393) Jeremy Wright- Conservative (25945) Candidates for Wellesbourne on Stratford on Avon District Council (Results) Danny Kendall – Conservative (1737) Jessica Pinson – Green (392) Roger Wright - Independent (2018)
