This photograph shows a view of the road junction formed by the intersection of Elwick Road with the A19(T) road. Coal Lane can just be seen on the other side of the dual carriageway; High Barns and Beacon Hill are also visible in the right-hand side of the image. The picture was taken looking in a west-north-westerly direction towards Beacon Hill Farm.
