In the 1960s, the rebuilt section on the left housed among other classrooms a modern, state-of-the-art 'Language Laboratory'. The RE provision was less progressive. This contributor remembers spending the best part of a year copying out, week after week, The Acts Of The Apostles until the RE teacher reached retirement.
