Its contemporary detached bell tower > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833752 - situated on the south side of the churchyard - has been declared redundant and is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church is noteworthy for its splendid south porch > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833804 and west doorway > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833795 - and for its arcades > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833817 resting on elegant columns, each one of the capitals having its own unique leaf decoration. The various decorative patterns on the clerestory walls were applied by using red ochre paint > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833836 and are over 600 years old. A large tomb chest > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833848 to a member of the Repps family can be seen in the north-east corner of the nave, and the life-size effigy carved in stone > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1833853 and believed to represent the founder of the church, Prior Albert, rests beside it. Several carved bench ends can be found on the choir stalls in the chancel. Some of the roof beams are carved with the names of former churchwardens and another carries a year date.
