Photo taken from Pinsley Green Road bridge next to Smeatonwood Farm, looking south-west towards Whitchurch. The popularity of public transport is shown by the huge size of the local train. In the distance (2.7 km away on the ridge) is the Combermere Monument, celebrating the victories at Salamanca and Bhurtpore of Field Marshal Sir Stapleton Cotton, 1st Baron Combermere, of nearby Combermere Abbey.
