Seen from near Roachburn Farm. The A689 and Woodend can be seen in the foreground with Doleshill Farm to the right on the minor road up to Tindale village. The horizontal line traversing the slope beyond is part of "Lord Carlisle's Railway" which was built south-eastwards from Brampton to serve the various mines and works in the area. The railway has now been reclaimed as an alternative branch to route 72 of the National Cycle Network.
