Shops in Comberton Hill

The shops and other businesses in Comberton Hill are cut off from the town centre by the Kidderminster ring road. However this secondary shopping area survives, probably because it is near to the two railway stations (those of the national network and the Severn Valley Railway), and to the Magistrates' and County Courts. The shops are from left to right:- empty; Emperor food takeaway; Surplus & Outdoors (Army surplus and outdoor supplies); Carol's Florist; another Surplus & Outdoor shop (until recently it was something else) and William Hill (betting shop). They were all closed because the photograph was taken early on a Sunday morning. Image
