This road used to lead from the A299 Thanet Way towards Radfall Road. Since the widening of the road to a dual carriageway (seen in the background) in the 1990's this link way is no longer used. It now is part of a diverted footpath from Radfall Road (opposite South Street) to Thornden Wood Road.
