The last train went from here in May 1968. The former LSWR station is quite intact and now makes a nice private dwelling with plenty of land.Distant Dartmoor hills in view make a great location. This view is seen looking towards Okehampton. Once at the end of the platform there was a small railway that led onto Dartmoor, known as the Rattlebrook Peat railway it led right onto Dartmoor and the trackbed now provides a good way of walking and enjoying the views.
