The Io Centre is a commercial estate home to various trade and consumer enterprises such as tool hire, tyre fitting, automotive repairs and computer sales and repair. It is a fairly recent development built on the site of a company called Deloro Stellite, manufacturers of hard-wearing metals for applications in industries including aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, power generation and steel. The company still has a manufacturing presence in Swindon. It has other factories in Indiana and Shanghai.
