Lochinver is a very friendly village and picturesque too. There is a large harbour but I got the impression it's not as busy as it used to be. The fisherman's mission here is so helpful, we arrived on bikes and you wouldn't believe how wet we were, they dried stuff for us in their dryers! The B&B we used were very biker friendly too.
