The foundation stone by this entrance in Skene Terrace is dated 1939. It is part of the Boy's Brigade building on the corner of Skene Terrace and Crimon Place. George Bennett Mitchell was an architect born in 1865 who became Commander and President of the Aberdeen Battalion of the Boy's Brigade in 1906.
