This Elizabeth II-reign postbox is set into the side wall of the Shop on the Green, which was also Fordington Post Office until 28 October 2008 when the post office closed permanently. The signboard above the window still refers to the post office, though. (See also Image) The box is emptied finally at 5:15pm on weekdays and at 11:30am on Saturdays.
