This large, Edward-VII postbox is set into the wall of a Thai restaurant, on the shady side of High West Street, near the top. This was High West Street Post Office until its closure getting on for thirty years ago – on 16 November 1984. The box is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 11:30am on Saturdays.
