Looking south. One of the very few good buildings in Croydon in the last seventy years can be seen at the end of the road - the NLA tower. Cherry Orchard Road itself is part of the A222 and is a very busy road, along which several bus routes operate. At its northern end, about half a mile behind the photographer, the road ends at a complicated junction near the 'Leslie Arms'. In front, where the NLA Tower stands, appears to be a roundabout, but isn't - there is a complex mish-mash of roads, and just to add a little more excitement, tramlines as well. Learner drivers and others who might lack confidence or experience are advised to keep away from this area.
