Some old rotten sleepers can be seen to the left, these have been dug out by the volunteers and replaced by new ones. Most of the sleepers have been sponsored by supporters of the track appeal http://www.mnr.org.uk/help/sleeper/ however more are needed. The trackbed here is private, I was on a supervised walking event.
