The ten turbines have a potential to generate 23MW of electricity and this shiny new substation has been built to send the electricity to Aberystwyth. It's hard to believe all that power travels down such thin looking wires. Whilst all the turbines are in their originally intended locations the substation has changed to its new location from the one proposed in the 2005 planning application, visible in the site layout document here http://www.ukplanning.com/carmarthenshire/findCaseFile.do?appType=planning+folder&appNumber=W%2F09205&action=Search
