I was in the town for the afternoon and whilst walking past the station I was astonished to see what I thought was the famous 'Mallard'. I was nearly right. It was the same class of locomotive, an A4, but it was in fact 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley'. I believe it was on 'Footplate experience' duty and a fine sight it was.
