The end of the open ditch

The open ditch which runs parallel with a section of the path here flows into a pipe which emerges again a couple of hundred yards further to the north. This view was taken from Hollow Lane, the public footpath which leads to Langmere, linking Thorpe Abbotts Road and Langmere Road.
