This post office serves an estate on the northeast side of town, and used to be in a nearby parade of shops, by the look of large scale maps which mark the post office premises with a thick outline. In all references that I can find, the branch spells Stone Quarry as two words unlike the Ordnance Survey map. The pillar box is a George VI-reign specimen.
